Dream Team

Dream Team is a before school peer mentoring program. Students in grades 1-3 are recommended by their teachers to be part of the program. 4th and 5th grade students who apply and qualify for the job and are paired with the younger students. Students then alternate daily between the library, where they practice their reading skills with a variety of books, and the computer lab, where they integrate technology with literacy skills. Dream Team begins with a play time in the gym at 7:45, then from 8-8:30, students go to the library and computer lab. Dream Team runs from Tuesday-Friday, beginning in October, and ending at the end of April.
